We're Matt and Nicole, and we're getting married in 2026.
We've been together for almost six years, and like most couples, we were excited to start planning our wedding… until we actually started planning our wedding.
Very quickly, we realised something: nothing out there really worked for us. Every platform felt either too complicated, too limited, or just not worth the price — especially when some were charging hundreds of pounds just to manage RSVPs. And as someone who absolutely hates spreadsheets, Matt was particularly unimpressed.
So, instead of trying to force a system that didn't fit, we decided to create something that did.
That's how Wedli started.
Wedli is designed to be a simple, all-in-one space to plan your wedding and manage your guests without the stress. We wanted something that would keep everything organised in one place — from what we've already sorted to what's coming up next. The payment reminders have been especially helpful, keeping us on track without constantly checking dates.
One of our favourite features is the table planner. You can drag and drop guests into place and actually see how your seating will look, which makes a huge difference compared to staring at a spreadsheet. Once it's done, you can export everything straight to Excel to send to your venue — including dietary requirements and allergens if you've collected them.
We also wanted to feel confident about how the day itself would flow. With Wedli, you can build your timeline and even attach music to different moments, so you know exactly what's happening and when — and have everything ready to go on the day.
But the real starting point for Wedli was RSVPs. We just wanted a simple way to see who's coming, as soon as they respond, and start planning from there. Now, when someone RSVPs, you can place them straight onto a table. You can also group guests into parties — like families or couples — so they can respond together, making it much easier (and nicer) for them too.
At its core, Wedli was built to replace the endless spreadsheets and scattered notes that wedding planning seems to create. It's not about overcomplicating things — it's about making the whole process feel easier, clearer, and a lot more enjoyable.
And honestly, it's done exactly that for us.
Made with love,
Matt & Nicole
